About Program
Our After School Program is open Monday–Friday from 1–6 PM, providing children with the perfect balance of fun, learning, and friendship after their school day ends. What sets our program apart is the warmth of our expert teachers, the educational enrichment activities we offer, and the added benefit of Chinese lessons. These experiences support each child’s growth to enhance and complement their regular school learning.
To make afternoons easier for families, transportation can be arranged from select local schools to our center. We hope students can begin after school care with confidence and comfort. Parents can feel assured that their children are in capable hands, continuing their education and thriving in a nurturing community.
We have flexible schedule options including 3, 4, or 5 days per week and drop-ins are also welcome.
-
Our teachers thoughtfully plan a variety of activities to give children opportunities to explore new interests and refine skills. They help children with their homework assigned by their individual schools. Teachers also provide supplementary assignments in Math, English, Science, Social Studies and Reading to strengthen academic growth.
Children have fun playing soccer, basketball, Zumba, yoga, velcro paddle ball, Bollywood dance and more! Children practice public speaking skills through show-and-tell, helping them gain confidence while expressing their feelings to others. We have countless books, toys and arts and crafts to enjoy too.
-
Our highly trained educators provide nurturing support and care for every child. Our teachers are CPR and First Aid certified. They also have years of classroom experience and are dedicated to early childhood education. With a strong commitment to consistency and low turnover, families can feel confident knowing their children are cared for by trusted professionals who truly value their child's well-being.
-
We provide a healthy afternoon snack each day. Our rotating menu includes fruit, yogurt, crackers, cheese and other nutritious choices to energize the children. An optional school meal is also available.
-
Students participate in engaging Mandarin, Chinese language activities through songs, games, and simple conversations, introducing them to bilingual learning in a fun, interactive way.
-
Children enjoy outdoor play on our playground and movement-based activities indoors. These exercises help build coordination, release energy, and support healthy development.

Meet Our Teachers!
Sarah | After-School Educator
I enjoy noticing what helps each child learn best, whether that’s using real-world examples to explain or turning math into a hands-on activity. I love finding unique and effective approaches. My Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with an emphasis on child development and behavior, has given me a deeper perspective into how children feel, learn, communicate, and build confidence.
My teaching experience includes working with the Ministry of Education at a Cambridge-affiliated school in Muscat, Oman, where I supported children in their academic growth. I also worked as an ESL teacher for Arabic-speaking students at the British Embassy, strengthening my ability to communicate clearly.
Outside the classroom, I am passionate about history, cultures, and learning about the world around me. That curiosity naturally carries into my teaching, where I encourage children to ask questions, and find what really interests them.
My goal is to create a safe, positive space where children feel comfortable making mistakes and trying again. Seeing a child go from “I can’t do this” to proudly solving a problem on their own is one of the best parts of my day. I want every child to feel valued, encouraged and eager to learn.
Michelle | Montessori Educator
With patience, encouragement, and creativity, I love helping children discover their talents and grow in confidence. Celebrating little moments of progress with my students after a new skill finally clicks is always such a joy. I bring five years of experience in Montessori education and I truly enjoy my work. Montessori courses and training have given me an understanding of Montessori principles, child development, and individual learning needs.
As a native Mandarin speaker raised in China, I enjoy teaching Mandarin through simple songs, playful activities, and everyday conversation. I also like incorporating arts and crafts, music and hands-on activities into learning.
Sports and fitness have always been an integral part of my life. I have participated in marathons, table tennis, ping pong and other sports. I encourage children to stay active while developing focus, discipline, teamwork, and perseverance.
Most of all, I want each child to know that they matter and I will be here cheering them. I hope to help them finish their homework, discover new interests, stay active, develop strong learning habits and leave each day feeling happy!
